Mott Community College 100 Centennial logo

Thank you for
celebrating 100 Years with us!

On September 23, 1923, the first group of students began taking courses at Flint Junior College (now Mott Community College) in the small but rapidly growing City of Flint. 100 years later, MCC is still changing lives for the better by providing high-quality, accessible and affordable educational opportunities to the greater Flint community and beyond.

We want to thank our sponsors, faculty, staff, students and community for celebrating this important milestone with us. Over the course of 12 months, we volunteered in the community, came together for lectures and musical performances, and commemorated 100 years of Mott Community College with a festival, parade and fireworks! None of this would have been possible without the participation of hundreds of individuals at Mott Community College, our generous sponsors and the Greater Flint community. From the bottom of our hearts: Thank You!

We invite you to browse these archives to remember all that we have accomplished together during the Centennial Celebration, and to find inspiration for the next 100 years at Mott Community College!
